Education Course Offering

2+2 Consortium- Middle Tennessee State University

The 2+2 Program in Interdisciplinary Studies is a unique partnership between Columbia State Community College and Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). You can earn a Bachelor of Science degree that prepares you to receive certification to teach kindergarten through sixth grade.

Students in the 2+2 Program must first complete an Associate of Science Degree from Columbia State specifically designed for this. The junior and senior years are completed by enrolling in a specific sequence of upper-division courses offered by MTSU on the Columbia State campus.

The Associate of Science Degree in Education from Columbia State Community College is designed for those students seeking a transfer degree to other Tennessee Board of Regents colleges and universities.
